The newest initiative of Talking Oceans is the first ocean film festival of Colombia – CineMar, and we are looking for a budding wildlife filmaker to edit and produce a cinematic trailer to publicise our premiere event in Bogotá, Colombia in October.
If you are a film student looking for experience of opportunity to break into wildlife filmmaking, or merely interested in volunteering to support the work of a conservation organisation, we would love to hear from you. Working with Talking Oceans and our partners presents a great opportunity to work in global conservation issues and enhance the audiovisual communication of science and conservation to the public. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, drop us a line.
We are looking for someone with editing experience of documentary stories, incorporating music lifts, soundbites and graphic effects on mobile editing software such as Final Cut Pro, AVID and Adobe After Effects. Spanish language skills are desirable but not essential. Applicants can be based anywhere in the world as this work will be carried out remotely.
For more information or to apply, email us with your CV and a link to an example of your work (youtube, vimeo etc). For regular updates and news follow this blog and check out our facebook page. We look forward to hearing from you!
